What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- A bill that would allow injured workers to treat with any Level I or Level II accredited physician sits before Colorado's Committee of the Whole.
- In Wisconsin, police officers and firefighters who are diagnosed with PTSD can now receive workers' compensation benefits thanks to a new bill that was signed into law last week.
- The Missouri State Senate passed a new bill that adds language to the firefighter presumption legislation and establishes a "voluntary firefighter cancer benefits pool."
This edition also includes updates about Florida, Ohio, and Montana.
