What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- The Minnesota Supreme Court's decision to not allow workers' comp benefits for 1988 Minnesota Vikings Al Noga
- The results of a recent study conducted by the American Journal of Medicine that discusses the link between work-related injuries and suicide.
- Emergency service personnel and volunteer firefighters in New Jersey will now be entitled to workers' comp benefits if they are injured on the job.
This edition also includes updates for Ohio and Pennsylvania.
