What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- Wilton Simpson, the Senate President in Florida, sent a memo to all Senators highlighting committee, chair, and vice-chair assignments.
- On January 21 and January 22, the Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims (DWC) is set to hold public hearings on the proposed pharmacy fee schedule and the changes to electronic filing requirements.
- The Texas DWC's Biennial Report to the Legislature found continued improvements in a majority of the categories post-reform (2005).
