What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- The New Hampshire House has proposed a bill that would remove the length-of-time presumption for heart and lung diseases for firefighters within the state.
- Last week, the New York Workers' Compensation Board announced a new effective date for the final stage of the drug formulary.
- In Connecticut, the Joint Committee on Labor and Public Employees took up a bill that would make several changes to the state's workers' compensation system.
This edition also includes updates about Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico, and West Virginia.
