- Governor Parson of Missouri enacted a new bill that establishes a voluntary cancer benefits pool for eligible firefighters in the state.
- The Governor of Colorado enacted a new bill that will expand the state's PDMP to include monitoring of all prescription drugs dispensed within the state.
- The North Carolina Industrial Commission found that almost 70% of COVID-19 workers' compensation claims within the state were denied from the beginning of the pandemic until May 31, 2021.
