- In New York, the Assembly voted to pass a new bill that would expand the list of providers who can treat injured workers to include massage therapists, among others.
- The New Jersey Assembly is taking up a bill that would make it easier for essential employees who contract COVID-19 to collect workers' compensation benefits.
- On August 20, 2020, the Maine Insurance Department will hold the first hearing on regulations that would impose new rules on PBMs within the state.
