What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- The Missouri Senate is considering a bill to introduce a PDMP that, if passed, will make it the final state in the union to establish a PDMP.
- A new bill with 60 bipartisan co-sponsors could establish a COVID-19 presumption for front line workers in North Carolina.
- Maryland Governor Larry Hogan signed a bill into law that authorizes the use of electronic prescribing for controlled substances.
This edition also includes an update from Oklahoma and New Jersey.
