What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation will be working on a new rule to allow medical disputes to be filed electronically.
- In Washington, D.C., the Washington City Paper conducted an investigative report which found that injured workers in the public sector have fewer rights and benefits than injured workers in the private sector.
- The Kentucky House has officially filed a workers' compensation reform bill, which was pre-filed earlier in 2020.
This edition also includes updates from Ohio and Oklahoma.
