## Case Study: Treating a Tragic Workers' Comp Injury in Alaska

In 2015, IWP was introduced to an Alaskan injured worker who suffered a horrific on-the-job accident that left him with severe head trauma and multiple injuries. After working extensively with the patient, his caregiver, and treatment team, IWP provided unparalleled care through medication management. 

After reviewing the patient's complete medication history, our expert Pharmacy team was able to eliminate possible adverse drug reactions, offer suggestions, and provide solutions to aid in his recovery. In doing so, this injured worker's family spent less time and energy worried about his medication routine and workers' compensation paperwork.
