What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- Arizona Governor Ducey signed a bill into law that would maintain the ability of injured workers within the state to select a pharmacy that best meets their needs.
- The New Hampshire Senate is considering a bill that would mandate the use of electronic prescribing for all controlled substance prescriptions within the state.
- The Massachusetts legislature is considering a bill that would require a label for all opioid prescriptions dispensed within the state.
This edition also includes updates about New Jersey, North Carolina, and Texas.
