- In Kentucky, the Governor issued an executive order for a presumption that establishes COVID-19 as a work-related injury for a range of essential employees in the private and public sectors.

The Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission created a presumption establishing that first responders and other "front line workers" who contract COVID-19 during the current state of emergency are entitled workers' compensation benefits.

The Governor of Virginia signed two labor-friendly bills into law last week, both of which go into effect on July 1, 2020.
