- In spite of push back from businesses and insurance companies, the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission issued a correction to last week's COVID-19 presumption that includes members of the news media.

According to the New School Center for New York City Affairs, changes the state's workers' compensation system have had a negative impact on benefits for injured workers and workplace safety.

Changes proposed by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation would include anti-inflammatory patches and topical pain spray in the state's drug formulary, if approved.
