What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- A decision by the Delaware Superior Court denied coverage for medical marijuana as a treatment option for chronic pain.
- The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation announced that coverage for certain telemedicine services will be extended through October 8, 2020.
- In Florida, the Division of Workers' Compensation released an updated report revealing a significant uptick in COVID-19-related workers' compensation claims filed throughout the state in June.
