What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- The Virginia Bureau of Insurance issued an announcement stating that they will begin accepting licensure applications for PBMs operating within the state.
- In Ohio, the Bureau of Workers' Compensation released its proposed updates to the state's drug formulary for outpatients.
- The California Labor Commissioner's Office filed lawsuits against both Lyft and Uber on the grounds that the ride-hailing apps misclassified their drivers as independent contractors.
