What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma signed a new law authorizing chiropractors to treat injured workers under the states workers' compensation system.
- The New Jersey Senate approved a bill that is designed to provide workers' compensation coverage to a wide range of essential employees affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- In North Carolina, the Department of Insurance approved several rule changes to its workers' compensation system that pertain to COVID-19.
This edition also includes updates from Arizona and Minnesota.
