What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- After passing the Illinois House and Senate, a COVID-19 presumption bill for essential employees that includes a rebuttable presumption for death benefits for first responders waits for the Governor's signature.
- In Oklahoma, the legislature updated the state's workers' compensation medical fee schedule for the first time since 2012.
- On June 25, 2020, the Industrial Committee of Arizona will conduct the state's yearly medical and pharmacy fee schedule public hearing.
