What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.
This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:
- In Virginia, a bill to establish a COVID-19 workers' comp presumption for first responders and health care workers is now before the Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor.
- The Oklahoma state trust fund announced that it won't be able to make weekly payments to claimants in October due to poor funds.
- New Hampshire's Insurance Department has approved another reduction in loss costs for 2021, making it the 8th consecutive year that the state will see savings.
